Abstract

The article presents elements for the discussion about the contribution of the school manager to the training of student readers, with an alternative to storytelling. The general objective is to perceive the contribution of school managers in the training of student readers, encouraging reading within the Library. It makes some considerations with the bibliography on reading and training of student readers, the role of the manager in the school library and storytelling within the library. In addition, it presents the data and analysis of information after applying a questionnaire, as well as the results obtained and the conclusion of the research with relevant information that aim to contribute to the optimization of the research.
