Incentivos fiscais, desenvolvimento da economia baiana e a Ford Camaçari

Abstract

Esse artigo pretende contribuir para a caracterização dos resultados da implantação do projeto de desenvolvimento industrial do Estado da Bahia, durante o período de 1994 a 2004, observando se os novos investimentos realizados contribuíram para a superação das debilidades estruturais da sua economia, tais como: o baixo encadeamento produtivo local e a concentração espacial de sua indústria de transformação. Para tal, faz-se um estudo de caso com o setor de material de transporte, representado aqui pela Ford Camaçari, com enfoque no padrão de organização da produção adotado por essa empresa, os encadeamentos produtivos locais e o estímulo ao crescimento da economia baiana. The article intends to contribute in the characterization of the results of the implantation of the Project of industrial development of the state of the Bahia during the period of 1994 the 2004, observing IF the new carried out investments had contributed for the overcoming of the structural debilidades of its economy of which stand out: the low local productive chaining and the space concentration of its industry of transformation. For such, make a study of case with the setor of material of transport, represented here for Ford Camaçari, evidencing the standard of organization of the production adopted for this company, the local productive chaining and the stimulate the growth of the bahiam economy.
