Deuda ecológica y deuda externa

Abstract

Com base em considerações históricas de índole comparativa, o autor aborda a relação entre Dívida Externa e Dívida Ecológica na América Latina, ressaltando a importância que tradicionalmente - e ainda em nossos dias -, os governos do Continente atribuem à primeira em detrimento da segunda, que está a requerer uma análise mais acurada, apesar de o debate em torno da Dívida Ecológica haver-se iniciado há, aproximadamente, uma década. Contando com fartas e variadas referências ao intercâmbio comercial desigual entre os países latino-americanos e as nações. Based on historical comparative considerations, the author discusses the relationship between External Debt and Ecological Debt in Latin-America, and underlines the importance that the Continent's governments - traditionally and nowadays - have ascribed to the External Debt, much more than to the Ecological one, in spite of the fact that the discussions on Ecological Debt have begun about tern years ago. Upon the basis of many and varied references to unequal trade interchange between Latin-America.
