Abstract

O artigo tenta decifrar o significado do conceito de “sujeição”, quase sempre presente no discurso de trabalhadores rurais entrevistados, enquanto visão de mundo que expressa tanto situações dominantes. A luta contra a “sujeição” inscreve-se, assim, em áreas sertanejas do Nordeste, no processo de resistência à expropriação de camponeses que se sentem ameaçados por mudanças já em cursos ou previsíveis.
