Vulnerable groups facing entrenched structures of inequality are increasingly disproportionately affected by the effects of global phenomena that impact everyday life, such as climate change and environmental degradation, which, when interacting with historical issues such as gender inequality, deepen and perpetuate conditions that lead to disasters in these territories. Without a social infrastructure to support these groups, it will not be possible to achieve true social resilience in highly uncertain scenarios.
