O imaginário e o cotidiano

RESUMO O imaginário, como dimensão complementar da existência humana, externaliza-se nas criações do homem desde o pensamento científico até a simples percepção do mundo. A criação poética caracteriza-se como uma atividade de apreensão, reconhecimento do objeto dando-lhe valor e significado. O imaginário é, ao mesmo tempo, individual e coletivo. Entretanto, a tecnologia contemporânea tende a desprezar o imaginário individual para aceitar apenas a parte da atividade imaginativa que alimenta a criação científica. A repressão com livre acesso ao imaginário pode estar na raiz de muitos desajustes. ABSTRACT The Imaginary and the Day to Day. v. 10, n. 1, p. 7-11, jan./jun. 1982. Imaginary as the complementary dimension of the human existence is shown in man’s creations since the scientific thought up to the mere perception of the world. The political creation is characterized as an activity of apprehension, recognition of the object giving value and meaning to it. The imaginary is individual and collective at the same time. However the contemporary technology has the tendency to reject the individual imaginary in order to accept only the part of the imaginative activity, which feeds the scientific creation. L’imaginaire comme dimension complémentaire de l’existence humaine, s’exprime par les créations de l’homme dès la pensée scientifique jusqu’à la simple perception du monde. La création poétique se manifeste comme une activité d’appréhension, la reconnaissance de l’objet lui donnant une valeur et une signification. L’imaginaire est en même temps individuel et collectif. Cependant, la technologie contemporaine tend à mépriser l’imaginaire individuel pour accepter seulement la faculté imaginative qui enrichit la création scientifique. La répression avec libre accès à l’imaginaire peut être à l’origine de beaucoup de problèmes psychologiques.
