How has your aerobic workout been lately? Have you been doing the same aerobic workout for years now? Would you like to increase the intensity? Or maybe you want to get some better results out of your aerobic workout? Either way, here are some quick easy tips for increasing the intensity of your aerobic workout!

As an aerobics instructor, I see people come in to take a class, and they go at their aerobics with the same intensity that they always do. Science Based Six Pack It never changes, and many times, I don't see their bodies changing either. Now, some people want to just maintain, and there is nothing wrong with that. But, if you are wanting to get a different result, you can't do what you've always done.

Some people like to get motivated by the music, or by the teacher. The people that I can get in their face and push, I will do that. If you are that type of person, find a teacher that will push you, and let your teacher know you want to be pushed. That is a really great way to increase your intensity. The teacher can tell when you are just going through the motions, and when you are moving with deliberate movement.

That is one of the hardest things to teach. Each exercise should be done with conscious deliberate movements. Knowing the form of what you are doing is important, and then you can get more precise with your movement. This is one way to increase your intensity of your cardio workout routine.

Another great way is interval training, or even sprinting. There are all sorts of studies out now about how you can use sprinting to get a lot more intensity out of your cardio workout routine. When you are doing a sprint, or an interval, it means you are going ALL OUT! I would rather see someone push themselves to the best of their ability for one whole minute, and then literally have to take a rest to catch their breathe. I love nothing more than when a student is telling me they can't decide which they want more, air or water. That is when they have gone to the highest of their intensity level.

Don't be afraid to push yourself! Hiring a trainer can be another way to get your intensity level up, but, if not, then, it's up to you! Push yourself beyond what you did the day before, even if it's a little bit. That is how you build more and more endurance and stamina. And most of all, have fun!
