Eufemismo e criação poética no romanceiro tradicional

Resumo

RESUMO O eufemismo pertence ao domínio da linguagem afetiva, e é no terreno da oralidade que, principalmenmte, se manifestam os fatos lingüísticos de natureza eufemística. Entretanto não se pode considerar o eufemismo produto exclusivo da linguagem afetiva, pois está ligado também ao tabu, que é tipicamente um fato social, uma interdição sobre determinado grupo humano sujeito, portanto, ao processo evolutivo decorrente do progresso da civilização. O processo da variação eufêmico, ao contrário, é imprevisível; insere muitas vezes novas tensões poéticas no texto. A imaginação popular, através do tempo e do espaço, reelabora a matéria tradicional, dentro dos limites temáticos impostos por modelos que lhe foram transmitidos. Vários romances apresentam naturalmente, por motivo de decência e decoro, a maior incidência do eufemismo quer pela omissão, quer pela criação metafórica. The euphemism belongs to the domain of affectionate language, and it is in the orality area that the linguistic facts of euphemistic nature are principally evidenced. However the euphemism can not be considered an exclusive product of affectionate language because it is also connected to taboo, which is tipically a social fact, an prohibition over a determined human group submited therefore to the evolutive process as a consequence of the improvement of civilizatiuon. The euphemic process of variation, on the contrary is unforeseenable; it includes new poetical tensions in the text many times. The popular imagination through time and space reemphasizes the traditional subject in the thematic limits imposed by models which have been transmitted to it. Several romances naturally present by decorum and decency, the greater incident of euphemism whether by omission whether by methaforical creation. L’euphémisme appartient au domaine du language affectif, et c’est dans le domaine de l’oralité qu’il se manifeste principalement. Cependant, on ne peut pas le considérer exclusivement comme un produit du langage affectif; il se rattache également au tabou, qui est un fait social typique, une interdiction portant sur un groupe humain déterminé, qui subit, à son tour, le processus évolutif dû au progrès de la civilisation. Le processus de variation de l’euphémisme, au contraire, est imprévisible; il insère souvent de nouvelles tensions poétiques dans les texte. L’imagination populaire, à travers le temps et l’espace, réélabore la matière traditionnelle, dans les limites thématiques imposées par les modèles transmis. Plusieurs romans présentent, naturellement, par des raisons de moralité et de pudeur, une plus grande incidence d’euphémismes, soit par omission, soit par création métaphorique.
